Josh has over 25 years in the executive search business and founded JD Farrell & Associates in 2003 as a Boutique Executive Search firm specializing in the recruitment and placement of mid to senior level professionals in Medical Device, Medical Technology and Biopharmaceuticals.

Throughout the years, Josh has developed invaluable relationships with medical device & healthcare executives around the world resulting in expanding JD Farrell’s divisions to include Global Executive Search, Career Development, Executive Coaching and Medical Staffing in a multi-angle approach to help identify, attract, recruit and develop organizations intellectual capital and most valuable asset…People.

Josh is an active member in the LinkedIn community and is the Group Leader of one of the largest Medical Device groups on LinkedIn, named “Medical Device Opportunity” (MDO). MDO consist of 225,000+ members and has become an online resource & forum with deep collective intelligence, connecting people to opportunities and information in the remarkable and innovative Medical Device industry.

Josh grew up in New England and migrated south to attend Florida State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1995.  He most enjoys spending quality time with family, 2 children, friends and has a passion for travel, skiing, scuba diving, surfing, boating, biking, CrossFit and cooking.
