Regional Nurse Consultant – Medical Products
The Company:
Our client is an innovative market leader in healthcare that is experiencing explosive growth. This company researches, designs, manufactures and distributes products for use in hospital settings and is looking to triple in size in the next 3 years!! Position Summary:
Provide in-depth understanding of clinical environments and product knowledge to the sales, design, marketing and R&D organization, dealer network and customers.
Educate internal and external customers in order to expand the market for existing clinical products and ensure appropriate product applications.
Primary Functions:
- Delivering presentations to hospitals, dealers, clinical groups, customers, etc.
- 50-60% travel, most of the focus is in NYC and surrounding areas. Area is Virginia to Maine.
- Works with R&D on the development of new products/enhancements, modifications of existing products
- Serves as the clinical knowledge expert - important to have personal development plan to keep up-to date with education, trends, CEUs, etc.
- Lend their clinical ethicicy to the sales process
- Consult on marketing materials
Required:
- Registered nurse (RN) required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Leadership experience in the hospital
- Ideal experience: as Clinical Director, involved in Medical Surgical Services, Managed multiple Nurse Managers and served as key member of Chief Nursing Officer’s Team
- Prefer someone in the NY/NJ area, must live within 1 hours of a major airport
- Prefer experience in ICU, CCU, Cardiac Critical Care Unit, ER
- Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, including making presentations to groups of professionals
- Computer competency with proficiency in MS Office suite
